The Killer-Part I

7:30am...
As Janet was walking into the post office, she saw something. Something that immediately filled her heart with grief. At first, it seemed like she may be dreaming this, but she managed to convince herself otherwise. Once she'd convinced herself, she got her phone, and started calling someone ...
"Hello, how may we help you ma'm?"
"I'd like to report a murder....
"Ok ma'm, where is the body?"
"It's in the alley just beside the Post office on Brooksdale Lane."
"Okay, thank you. Police are on their way."

7:36am
Officers Barry Owen and Samantha Jones arrive at the scene, to find a crowd of people surrounding the dead body of a 22year old male. He had black hair and blue eyes. Victim showed some signs of a struggle.
"Forensics will be here in 5minutes, just help me clear the crowds back!" said Barry, who was in a relationship with Samantha. As they cleared the crowds back ...:
"Is it true the male was shot, POST mortem, meaning he died before being shot?" asked a certain Kylie Symmons of the Daily News.
"It's impossible to tell yet, now I'm sorry but you're all gonna have to move back." announced Barry.

When forensics arrived, Barry and Samantha started their patrols again, and get called to a possible break in at Smyth's Factory on Arrowgate Drive. When they arrive, Barry questions a witness, when suddenly, the sound of an iron bar striking against something 4 times comes from inside the building.
"I'm going in" said Sam.
"Oii, be careful okay!" replied Barry.
When Sam rushed in, she knew what she had to do. Arrest the trespasser and get out of there. When she turned a corner, she saw an old barrel, probably used to store oil in at some point in it past. But it was alone. She decides to go upstairs, so she can have a better look of the factory. When she reaches the top of the stairs, she keeps walking forward, until she is against the banister over looking the whole of the ground floor. However she's being watched.

As she continues to try and figure out where the trespasser could've got to, she's grabbed from behind, and shoved over the railing(/banister that she was leaning against). As she falls, she hears an evil laugh, and then ... ETERNAL DARKNESS!!!
