This Is Me

My 100th Opuss. This is wonderful. Thank you all for your support and likes and friendship. I don't know how I've gotten this far, but I can't wait to keep going. Thank you all!! Onto the poem....

This is me
I'm standing here
Waving at you
Glee without fear

Come on over
Let's have a talk
I'll tell you about me
As we go for a walk

As you may have noticed
I'm mature for my age
I've never fit in
Fitting in is like a cage

I rather enjoy
The small things in life
What keeps you going
What eases your strife

I have a talent for music
I play flute, piano, and I sing
I'm also a ballerina
And a writer as a side thing

Although I hate people
I love them too
Whether you're liked or not
Is up to you

I'm told I am smart
I guess I think so
The best thing is math
And all subjects also

I'm a quick thinker
And I get it right
I know how to apply
My mind is bright

I really don't know
If my people skills are great
It all just depends
Sometimes you just need to wait

Say what you will
About who I really am
Even I don't know me
So you definitely can't

I may be short-tempered
But I'm not always like that
It all comes down to
How you tip the hat
