"Ooh! We better hurry up!!" said Lily, stuffing everything into her locker.
"Yes, let's see... We both have homeroom with Ms. Tarri. She's in room 107. Let's go!" I replied as we shut our lockers and headed on our way.

We had just made it into the last empty seats when the late bell rang.
"Hey look!" whispered L,"Max is in our homeroom, too!"
We both looked to our left to see him in the front row, seating with his best friend Ethan.
"I think we should double-date some time!!" said L.
"Sure! But first we'd both have to actually be dating them..." I replied with a smiled.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. Maybe you should go over there and tell him how you feel." Lily lightly nudged me.
"Haha, yeah... No. Not gonna happen. Why don't you go tell Ethan that you like him?"
"As if!! Not happening sista. I guess we'll both just have to wait it out." she smirked.
"Yeah I guess so..."
And so our conversation ended as Ms. Tarri started to speak to the class.
