Chapter 2

This girl didn't have the gift. Well, she didn't think so. But she knew someone who did.
"It's defiantly a boy-dragon. I know that for sure."
Freda was the local witch, or shaman if you like. She told the future (to some extent), helped you find lost things, and stuff like that. She wasn't the most house-proud, but loved her little cave none the less. She also had the gift. Only the young girl knew about this, but she didn't know why Freda had told her, of all people.
"I think his name is D-d-de-de-den- Dendian!"
At this the dragon growled.
"Ok, that's not it then...Go on, you try."
The girl, who's name was Amiee, looked at the dragon. The dragon looked at her.
"Kioran." She proclaimed. "His name is Kioran."
Freda looked amazed.
"I thought, maybe, but not this much..." she muttered, her thoughts turning into words and trailing back again.
"Well child" she said "One things for certain. You've got the Gift."
But she failed to add,
'And so much more'.
