Put Up Without A Fight

Words drip from my lips,
Thoughts free from my mind,
Harsh things to make you slip,
There's no one to save you this time.

Poison flows from my tongue,
Spiteful things you can hear,
Snakes of words and sentences,
Slithering into your ear.

A knife into your heart,
A bullet to your head,
You put up without a fight,
And now, I'm afraid you're dead.
