I Love A Man That I Hate

My poor attempt at poetry I am sorry :L

I'm in love with a man I hate,
and he's not even the one I should love,
The truth is he's exciting
And that's more than can be said for the other

He never says sorry and does what he pleases
The other just groves and makes up excuse
He know my true thoughts and all my intentions
While the other just like in me what's he chooses

But the problem is I hate him
He's arrogant and jerky
He swans around school like he owns the whole building
He's rude, crude and quite frankly evil

But in moments of silence that man is gone
His gentle and kind and soft in the heart
He cares for his loved ones
As there world falls apart

However our lives are not together
We have each chosen others
Although not as happy
There our parts to play

So we sit and watch each other go by
A million chances not taken
And although most of my life is a lie
I know what we had was never mistaken

I find myself saying sorry more then the ladies I dated. Idk I guess it works with both parties.

@RachelleB that's true, but I hold myself accountable of any heart ache that was my fault. I like to leave on a clean slate if possible. No matter the case I wouldn't wanna cause anyone hurt even if the respects not mutual.

@RachelleB this topics always intriguing to discuss with the opposite sex so if you can to share your experience I'm all ears. It hasn't always went smooth for me, but I just try to be considerate of people's emotions. I'm in touch with my emotions and I always try to treat people as I wanna be treated. I'm not perfect either, but I try which is all you can do before you go..

@angeltorruella my experience? Well I broke up with a guy trying to keep everything peaceful and calm a nice ending, but what actually happened was that I ended string him along for years after! I put everything straight as soon as I realised what i was doing but it ended horribly with quite a few people getting hurt. But I understand what you mean completely, but I'm a big believer of to truly know happiness you must first know sadness, while no one should ever hurt someone else on purpose I do think heart ache is something we all have to face on both sides of it x

@RachelleB that's unfortunate. It sucks when things get chippy, but your completely right. Pain is def needed. I embrace hurt and write usually. I overall grow from it is some aspect of an angle. I much rather be hurt by love then not feel it at all for sure. Love is the best a worst feeling in the world.
