Together we sat,
You gave my shoulder a pat,
You leaned in close,
And gave me a second dose.
"Darling, no longer will you suffer."
A sharp pain in my neck,
Followed by a small peck;
Of warm lips, and nips.
"You'll be mine,"
You sipped wine,
With a keynote,
Another pain in the throat.
"Forever!"
You carried me,
To a warm spot by the fire,
And your love became dire;
I had the chance to last admire you.
In the end, all in all-
You didn't let me fall,
Wrapping me up in blankets.
You lifted my chin,
And softly sang a hymn.
