Staring down the barrel of a fully loaded gun.
Winter but no Christmas.
Summer with no sun.
Being in a room with Hindley, West and Sutcliffe.
Being told the end of every film that's ever being made.
Finding the winning lottery ticket the day after it runs out.
Committing suicide the day your disease is cured,
Ending the book you've so enjoyed and your favourite character died.
Standing on the edge of tomorrow,
Looking forward to memories that haven't happened.
No matter how bad your day becomes,
Be excited by tomorrow.
Don't fret about the happenings,
Of that you can't control.
Smile about the little things,
Find something to laugh about.
We all bog down in work and worries,
Stressing as the pressure rises.
But raise your glass to this fine thought,
And wonder once with me...
Will it matter tomorrow? And don't forget it could be worse.
