A warmth grips my stomach,
I love the way it feels.
It comes from out of nowhere,
And negative vibes it kills.
So sudden and so great,
Please don't leave as quickly.
Moments like this I long for,
In a nice way I feel sickly.
Butterfly's are fluttering,
I pray the feeling sticks.
Pain is such a numbing thing,
Wish these feelings I could pick.
A smile on my face,
No chip on my shoulder.
A rare sight these days,
Since I've been getting older.
So I'll hope and I'll pray,
When I turn out the lights.
That you won't go away,
And be with me for life.
