Sunshine tries to take a hold
Posing for the centrefold
Rustic farmland starts to sprout
Images of life, no doubt
Nightjars 'churring' on a branch
Gonna cause an avalanche!
Temperatures begin to rise
Icicles say their goodbyes
Mother Nature take a bow
Every year you cope somehow.

#acrostic Sleeping giants start to stir, Poking flowered fingers high. Returning flocks of courting birds Invade the windy, warming skies.
#acrostic S omewhere between the midsts of tulips and daffodils, P resents for your mother and constant ringing tills.
Step out of the door, The cold chill sends ice through my spine. The warm colours tells me autumn has arrived. A season of paradoxes.
Golden hued leaves fall graciously to the ground. All the little squirrels stop and turn transfixed to the sound. Pollen lost from the legs of bees coat the glistening floor.
I look around me And everything's green. Spring is coming. Yellow flowers and Pink almond trees. Here in Sicily Winter leave us early.
So much changes when spring finds its way. Pass do the whites and the dankly dull greys. Remain does the rain but the sunshine comes with. In a splendorous fashion, that the flowers shall live.
In a spiral of gold, ruby, and copper leaves tumble from the gnarled branches. A magnificent carpet of colours line the woodland paths. Cool winds carry the fiery foliage softly through the icy air.
Hello dear sun. Oh, welcome back, Your warming light, I seemed to lack, The sky was grey, But now you're here, A joyful blue.
