Walking here,
Caped in moonlight dust,
Hand in hand,
Can you feel the love?
Dazzling diamonds,
Dancing upon the lake,
Forget about time,
Our love will keep us awake.
Not a single leaf,
Tumbles from the tree,
Footprints in the snow,
Belonging to you and me.
Your hand is warm,
Soft and soothing,
As we gaze towards the horizon,
The lake gently moving.
The sky is painted,
A luscious bluey-gold,
Birds fly past,
As clouds unfold.
We gaze at our watches,
Simultaneously,
Just ten more minutes,
I say, reluctantly.
Thirty minutes pass,
I should be back at mine,
But I can't leave you,
Love controls time.
