Can you see these tears,
Rolling down by cheeks?
All a result,
Of our love turning bleak.
The day you left me,
My heart was torn,
My dazing conscience,
Stabbed by a thorn.
I had no one to turn to,
No one to hug,
No one to comfort me,
When the going got rough.
I cried for hours,
Eyes bulging with pain,
The tears kept coming,
As I sat there in vain.
I kept rushing to the toilet,
Lifting up the seat,
Throwing up-still crying,
Facing defeat.
But then, I guess I realised,
You were one in a million,
Surely someone must love me?
Out there in oblivion.
You were never worth my tears,
Nor my effort, love and cash,
For you are easy to replace,
Whilst I rise up from the ash.
