You say you love him,
Say you have eyes for no one else.
Just like you say you're my friend,
And know me better then any one else.
Then maybe you have realized the way I look at him,
And how I melt when he looks at me.
Because I've known him for a year now,
While you two hardly talked before last week.
My insides churn when you talk about him,
And describe the eyes I know oh-so well.
I long to tell you the truth,
and let my jealousies bubble out.
But yet I keep my mouth shut,
Because that's what true friendship's about.
