Fire's Life

Trees into lumber to timber to kindling,
Flames flicker probing the wood that is dwindling,
Firewood to fireplace to flint that just catches,
Embers of amber to cinders to ashes.

Homely Wall

#household. These places have eyes. They also have ears. They simply absorb. All of our fears. They do not shout back. Or break you apart. They've been there beside you. Right from the start.

Rocks Of Ice

Days of silence. Neither of us talks. No apologies. Love on the rocks. Escalation of rows. Wrong sort of passion. Once showed in love. Now appears in aggression. Priorites were compromise.

@Timmsyy Ooh! I like this one a lot! It's very simplistic but has a nice vibe and constant flow of rhythm. I like how you made it a more chain of events type thing, which sounds boring as that, but the words you chose made it more interesting and added to the beauty. A very well written poem, maybe one of my favorites...? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ΌπŸ˜„πŸ‘

@AWriterGirl haha thanks I wrote this at 1am when I couldn't sleep. :) 😽😽

@AWriterGirl @Timmsyy me too. Simple and all the better for it. Sweet words β˜ΊπŸ‘
