Call Of The Spirits

Chapter 4
"The Caeruleus?" I question him.
"Yes, they are the dark soldiers of The Cinereo. Cinereo is the city in the south isn't." he explains.
"We can stop running now" I say with a smile since we had been running for at least half an hour and had out ran The Caeruleus.
"We better go back to camp" he says looking around.
"Don't you mean start camp" I correct him
"No, I have friends, they are my pals, I got kicked out of my family because of them" he said smiling trying to hide the fact that he was clearly upset. This made me think maybe they are Spirit Warriors too.
"Shouldn't I go back to Kaylyle or should I go with you" I ask
"The Caeruleus know who you are and will come looking for you since you know they exist" he explains "So it's best if you come with me.
"Ok, sure" I say taking one glance back at the woods towards Kaylyle. As we were slowly plodding towards camp I was as bored as ever, I played with my matted dark brown hair that fell down to my waist, collected sticks and threw them into the trees, picked daisies to make a chain and kicked dirt. None of these things could cure my boredom.
"Parva, welcome to camp" Fortis announces, this startles me since we had been in complete silence "Parva, this is Captionem and Vivos, Captionem, Vivos meet Parva" he says smiling. They were sat down beside a fire warming their hands and cooking meat in the cool air. Captionem had beautiful long golden hair that was tied back in a single tatted braid, her eyes were a bright blue and she had a kind looking face. Vivos was quite the opposite, Short dark tangled hair, small hazel piercing eyes and a violent face, his scars and the mud on his face made him look really vicious and quite off putting as a friend.
"Hi Captionem, Hi Vivos" I say quietly trying not to make eye contact as I sat down.
"There is no need to call me Captionem, just call me Cap, if that makes it easier for you" Captionem says kindly followed by a sweet smile in my direction. "Ok then, let's play truth or dare" she says with a giggle. We all sit around the camp fire and get ready for our first question.
"Vivos, truth or dare" she announces,
"Dare" Vivos mutters with a sigh, I think Cap has forced him to play this game many times.
"Ok then, Fortis bring on the sock" Cap giggles, Fortis picks up the most disgusting socking I have seen in my life and passes it to Cap,
"Ladies and Gentleman, I present you a sock that has been lying around here for weeks, unwashed, rained upon and just has generally been living in horrible conditions all it's life" she announces "Now Vivos is going to smell it" she hovers the sock over Vivos nose for only a second then there is a violent spluttering sound "Get that nasty thing away from me, it stinks" Vivos cries.
"Ok dare done, now Fortis truth or dare" she says leading closing towards the fire is his direction, clearly not wanting to smell the sock he says "Truth"
"Okay dokey, do you have a crush on someone" she grins like she already knows his answer. Fortis has blushed bright pink. "Ummm urrrrrr ummmm" he relies,
"Spit it out, cat got your tongue" she smiles,
"Well I do have have a liking for one person" he says noticing we all were leading a bit closer towards the fire inching to know his answer "S-s-she".
"Whats her name, Fortis" I say really eager to know and for him to get it off his tongue so it could be my turn, Fortis eyes watering looks towards me and then back at the fire.
"Her name is P-P-Parva C-C-Clearbank" he says quickly then shuts his eyes as tight as possible.

I am Ellenor, I am 12 years old. My hobbies are listening to music, choreographing dances and writing parodies to my favourite songs. My fave genre of book is fantasy. I enjoy the Hunger Games (I have read it twice it a row), The Lord of the rings, The Hobbit and Harry Potter. I am so sorry I can't be a better writer and poet but I try my best. I just do it anyway because it is the perfect cure for boredom.
