Chapter 15
About a year later, it was the Christmas holidays. I had dropped out of school, being a wolf meant you could change at any moment, sometimes without warning. My mother hadn’t visited again, I wondered if she had been found out, but decided not to go and see her just in case she hadn’t. Jason had taught me how to do most things as a wolf.
On Christmas Eve, Jason and I sat warm on the couch. His arms were around me tightly and his head was next to mine. I loved the feeling of him next to me.
11:58pm. I was about to get up to get a drink of water, but Jason pulled me back down.
“I want you to open your present at midnight” He whispered in my ear. 11:59. Jason got up and gave me my present. It was a small wrapped box. 12:00. Jason wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me onto the couch.
“Open it” I pulled off the wrapping paper and looked at Jason, I knew what this was. No way… I opened the box and found a beautiful diamond ring. He turned me around in his arms.
“Will you marry me?” Jason asked. My jaw just dropped. I-I-
“Oh my gosh! Of course I will” I was nearly in tears. Oh my gosh! This was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I hugged him so tightly that he couldn’t breathe.
“Room. Becoming. Darker” I let go of him.
“Sorry” I giggled and kissed him.
“Will you put it on?” I nodded and he put it on my finger and I was like a 11 year old girl seeing Taylor Lautner or some other hot guy.
“I love it, but not as much as I love you” He kissed me softly on the lips. He just asked me to marry him. He just said ‘Will you marry me?’ and I said yes!
“I love you so much. You’re my gorgeous fiancé”
“I love that”
“Good” His lips became attached to mine again. I didn’t think this moment would ever come, the moment when he would ask me to marry him. I giggled into his lips. “So beautiful”
“So I’m going to be you’re… Wife?”
“Yes”
“That’s so strange to say, but I love it. When can we get married?” I asked, Jason smiled.
“As soon as possible”
“I love you”
“Happy Christmas and engagement charlotte”
“Happy Christmas and engagement Jason”
