I say no, it doesn't make a sound as your ears have to make it into a sound. Sound is made by vibrations
The tree hits the ground and makes a vibration, that is a sound. The vibration makes it a sound, not our ear. The sound travels to our ears so we can hear it. So therefore I agree with @LeahLovesEC still!
When something vibrates in the atmosphere, it moves the air particles around it. Those air particles in turn move the air particles around them, carrying the pulse of the vibration through the air.
@Twilightianalex kind of, but if no human was there, and a bird was it would move of sacredness, and it would still make a sound, out ears don't make the sound. The ears just travel the sound to our brains, to try identify it
Right, we're being to scientific! I think: The vibration makes it a sound. We just use our ears hear the sound!
