"Have you found her yet?" Sean asks as we're walking down the sidewalk, I don't look at him and pretend to be interested in some flowers, "No, she's still missing," I reply tightly, "Can we help?" "No, I have to do this alone. It's too dangerous," "You're kidding right? Most of us have spent time in prison camps or juvenile hall at the least. You think we can't handle danger?" "It's a different kind of danger, Sean. Believe me, if you could help I would've asked you by now." "I don't want you going through this alone, Victoria. I love you too much to just stand by and do nothing while you're basically fighting a war by yourself." I turn and see he's less that three inches away from me. Looking up into his crystal blue eyes, I almost give up and tell him everything, but remain strong. "I love that you care so much, but I still can't tell you," he sighs, "When will you be able to?" "Possibly it could be safe when I find my sister and bring her home,"
(I'm changing her age. She's 17 now instead of 15)

We come back to the house and Tak is making out with Kyle on the couch in the living room. I ball my fists and set my jaw tight. I haven't been with Kyle in like 5 years but that doesn't give we automatic "make out on front of me" privileges. I close the door a little harder and they jump apart, making me smirk slightly, "No need to act like you're 12, just get a room," Tak blushes furiously and Kyle's eyes glisten with curiosity, "I'll be up in a minute, Tak," he says and she almost bolts out of the room. Funny, I wouldn't have pegged her as a shy type. "What's going on? I can tell you're angry," I laugh, "Why would I be angry, Kyle? I was with you when we were kids, that's history now," I grab an apple and head downstairs to my room (I kicked Kyle out of the basement)
