Life is like a rock gig. The support acts are like our early years. When we are in wonder and expectation of what life ( or what the gig will hold). Then as the support acts finish, and the main act comes on, it's like you've left your childhood and teenage years behind and you're thinking "this is when the adventure really starts". And as the gig carries on, and you have to dodge the mosh pits or the obstacles that life throws at you. And when you are shoved into a mosh pit, in that moment you think you may die as you see the feet stomping around you. And in that moment you are begging someone to rescue you from being trampled on and in life you are begging for a friend to help you get through this difficult times. And as the gig plays the massive hits, those are like the best memories life enables us to have. And as the band talk in between songs about what the next song's about or thanks for being here that is like a pep talk that people give us to boost us. And as the gig draws to an end and you're in your elderly years, thinking, where has the time gone. And as the light dims and the last chord of the guitar vibrates, this signals impending death or the realisation that a fantastic gig is over.
