I lived life in a bubble,
Kept safe from all trouble,
It was better, safe, easy,
Made life seem sunny and breezy,
But it was all an illusion,
A bubble-lensed delusion,
For one day when it popped, it burst,
I may have panicked and cursed,
No longer an observer,
Floating above,
Things changed,
Small feet found ground,
Forged a path,
experienced not just looked,
And to life,
This little girl was hooked.
