Hello again, today is Monday, December 10, 2012. In eleven days the world is supposed to end. According to the Mayan calendar, our beloved Earth will hit its expiration date on the 21st of December. Or will it? Some say it will and others say it won't, but each side has an equal amount of, or lack thereof, evidence to support their claim. My fear is not that the world as we know it will end, but instead that the poorer, less fortunate world we forget about so often will continue without so much as an anthill changing. That, more than the end of the traditional perspective of the rock we call home, is what I fear.
