I am going to have to make my last day meaningful, so this takes lots of thought and time so it can't be rushed....

Hello again, today is Monday, December 10, 2012. In eleven days the world is supposed to end. According to the Mayan calendar, our beloved Earth will hit its expiration date on the 21st of December.

Hi everyone I'm pretty mature but I'm looking for a bit of adult guidance, please help.
As the world crumbles down around us, I'll sit there with you. As the sun engulfs the sky and consumes everything, we'll sit there and talk about our past. People will run around, filled with despair.
I've just calculated how many days until the supposed end of the world on 21st December 2012 when we all suffer a rather melodramatic death and the world all gets flooded.
It's 18th December 2012, the end of the world is in three days.
We're nearly there. The Mayan calendar ends, and with it, our civilisation. Perhaps. Or maybe they just ran out of space, and couldn't be arsed to carve another one.

Maybe 21/12/12 is the Mayan equivalent of our April Fools Day. They picked a day and said "Come on lads. Lets make it a biggy!" 😉
It took them thousands of years to construct the calendar!! It based on a real event the alignment of the sun, moon, earth and the black hole in our galaxy, comes around every 5thousand or so years! We have come to decide it means the end of the world when really were just entering a new cycle...the gamma rays from the black hole are said to be the equivalent of a thousands of suns! That's the only worry lol
