Damn this paranoia,
My neighbour's taking out his bins,
I'm jumping at every clash,
Like its a thug break in
Hear a knock at the front door,
Could it be a trick?
Are they luring me out to answer,
So I can be attacked by a lunatic?
Like a bad guy would be that noisy,
Still, you can never be too sure,
Even though, I thought I knew,
A real villain wouldn't use the door
And what's that strange tapping?
Are they trying to lure me out,
Athough the neighbour's whistling in his garden,
And I'm sure he'd hear a shout
If I could only count the times,
When I have gone to check out a noise,
Locked myself in the bathroom,
Or just completely froze
Well, I'm sure I'm going insane,
With every creak and every groan,
I'll stay on my phone, with my door locked,
Yeah sure that'll protect me, when I'm home alone
