Once there was a lady
They called her Scatter Brain.
Her mind was a little shady,
Like a book left in the rain.
Oh, the pain!
Scatter Brain!
She didn't know the refrain.
She was bad with directions,
And couldn't read a map.
She couldn't read 'cause of under-education.
What's the matter with that?
Pitter-pat!
Forgot about that!
She was hit on the head with a baseball bat!
That explained a lot,
If that's not too rude to say.
But beauty she's got!
I talk to her everyday.
Ho-hey!
Don't go away!
Her smile took away the grey.
She had a sunny disposition,
Even if she wasn't that smart.
This story's beyond her recollection,
She's not the sharpest dart!
Loving heart,
Memories are apart.
So I guess we'll just go back to the start!
Once there was a lady
They called her Scatter Brain.
Her mind was a little shady,
Like a book left in the rain.
Oh, the pain!
Scatter Brain!
So that was the refrain!
((Thanks for reading my brain mush, I'm working through writer's block.))
