Dark Echoes

Falling from darkness
To a place I don't know
Everything moving
Nowhere to go
A darkness which blanks my mind
Black shadows walking in line
Alone falling in the darkness
Feel down mind aches
Heart bleeds from past mistakes
Endless footsteps on the ground
Searching for what cannot be found
Echoing goodbye
In the darkness I hide I try
In the dark black shadowed shroud
Black clouds hide the crying cry
Long echoes of a goodbye
The darkness of sorrows sigh
Again left alone overflown
Fading away
Fade into in another day
Listen to the echoed dark
The dark echoes

Despair.

Raw it comes leaving a few to stand tall. Darkness and glory become one, thinking of none least of all the bright sun. You let anger and rage take over, mind rolling like a huge ugly bolder.

A Worn Heart

Sawdust heart, All flown away. Nothing ever works, Never a happy day. Dusty heart, From lack of use. Try to pull a lever, Find it all loose. Sawdust heart, All worn out.

I'm Here.

I'm here. Do you not see me. I'm here. Do you not hear the desperation in every word left unspoken. I'm here. Do you not feel my presence; worn and anxious and praying for you to call my name.

Untitled

There's nothing left. Plain white-washed walls. Just a lonely echo. And deserted halls. The colour has faded. Only stained hearts remain. Forever waiting. To be cleansed by the rain.

Shiver

I remember the night when your blood ran cold, Shivered in shock at your vacant soul. The black endless night when you said you were fine, Because you never thought I'd read between the lines.

Waiting

Cold is the breeze; void is the soul, Yearning creeps in, from crown to sole. Traces concealed; powerless my sight, Hope, an ember, fading in the night.

World Weary

Come lay your weary head, little one. I know a long time you've been around. You must be very tired and weak. After the world has beat you down. You feel hopeless, helpless. Like nobody cares.
