A baby's cry means nothing, a corpse expected,
It's become the norm, to see the infected,
Neglected children, happens daily for all,
Death seems pleasant, look forward to the fall,
Sleeping never pleasant never to be tranquil,
Turn of reason, forget your ideals,can't feel?
Let the soul be sold, just wait for the heart to get cold.

Too true, saddens me how numb people can be to all the pain and hurt. )-: no surprise tho with all the movies and tv with savage stuff happening all the time.
@Stablish don't think only that can make people numb, think it can be a way of escaping getting away from reality. Better to feel nothing then the emotions some people would argue. Thanks tho glad you like it.
@aleishagayle20 Deeeep!! Me likes. I agree humans like to find sanctuary in things like booze, drugs, films, xbox/playstation,music etc.......we all need a place to hide. Great piece tho x
