Lovers

On a warm July night,
On a beach of green and blue,
There was a sight,
One being made from two.
Two people so silly in love,
Lay down on salty sand
And looked at the orange above.
The boy, who was fair in face,
Declared his love
With such tender and grace.
He touched the girl's eyes,
Wide with brown and black,
And remembered her sighs,
In the car on the old track.
Himself, he smiled to
His love now declared,
Nothing left to say or do.
Their love more flared.
The sun now, rubbing its weary eyes,
Shines on the lovers,
Waiting for them to say their goodbyes.
The lovers wont sleep,
They want to touch.
Their love so deep
The girl sheds a tear,
So giddy from love,
Silly, seems fear.
'I love you more than you could love me.'
The girl says,
So happily.
The lovers, they close eyes,
Knowing they'll never say their goodbyes.
They kiss for a final time,
Before they depart.
They kiss before the chime.
One another in forever one's heart.
