I lay on the towel with the sun warming my back. I could feel the stones through the towel but if you shuffled around a bit it wasn't too uncomfortable. I was holding my book in one hand but after a while my shoulders started to hurt so I put it down and closed my eyes. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. It was enough to make you want to fall asleep.........
I woke up when a hand came down in front of my face and someone leaned over me. I tensed. 'Relax babe, it's only me.' I melted into his voice and untended my body. He places tiny kisses along my back and rolled over next to me. He kissed my lips softly and I opened my eyes to smile at him. He rolled over onto his back and I shuffled closer to him, resting my head on his shoulder.
