Well...This Is New - 19

Ugh, okay, I tried. And I got a few points! And it was pretty intense! I did a lot of blocking and put up quite a fight!
But in the end, Paul one the World Cup finals.
Each time he'd get a goal he'd grin at me and I'd shake my head and grin at him. He stood in front of the window and, combined with his new shirt, that was green and blue and very cute, and the winter sunshine beaming through the window, his blue eyes were so vibrant.
After that intense game, I was pretty warm, and I knew my cheeks were bright red.
"I think it's time to go outside," Paul suggested.
"Yes!" Sally and I agreed.
We went downstairs to his basement where he had a huge cupboard full of snow clothes. Sally had brought her own snow pants, but I have no snow gear. Paul gave me a pair of huge snow pants, and reluctantly I put them on.
They basically ballooned around my entire body, they were so humongous.
"I think these are too small," I said sarcastically. Paul looked over from where he was wearing snow pants that looked perfect on him.
"How can you look good even in snow pants?" I demanded in my head.
He burst into laughter, squeezing his eyes shut. "I gave you those!" He cried, pointing to a smaller pair of snow pants on the floor near me.
"But you gave me these first!" I pointed to the giant circus tent I was wearing.
"No!" He laughed. "Try the other ones!"
I did, and they were a little big, but they worked.
He gave me his own winter coat to wear over them, and a pair of gloves. One I had my boots on, I was ready to go.
I said a quick hello to his dad, who sat at the kitchen table in his pajamas with a newspaper. Then, we all three ran outside, falling into the endless snow. It came up to the near tops of my legs sometimes, and running in it was crazy hard work. We all got on his trampoline, which was like being in a swimming pool of snow, and started bombarding each other with armfuls of it. I got it on my face and shrieked from the cold. And there went my mascara of course, all over my face.
Paul burst into laughter. "You look like you've been crying for hours!"
"Ah crap," I muttered, wiping at my face with my hands.
Then, he threw himself towards me, landing next to me, laying down in the snow.
I shrieked, wondering if he'd been actually aiming for me.
"Let's bury her!" He cried, throwing snow on my legs.
"Nah, that's okay!" I cried.
I grabbed an armful of snow and threw it. It all got on his face.
He gasped, staring at me.
Then, mischief filled his eyes.
He got on all fours, and sprung. I screamed, shielding my face, and he landed right in front of me.
He laughed. I felt his hands grab my shoulders, and he pressed me into the snow. I screamed again, laughing, and he laughed too.
But Sally didn't want to miss out on the fun.
She jumped for him, and he backed away, throwing snow at her face.
"Aaah!" She yelled, laughing.
He jumped from the trampoline and into the snow below, before scrambling away.
Sally and I followed him closely.

Writing is my life. Forever. I want to be an author when I grow up. I write all the time. When I'm happy, sad, angry...it's an escape. Oh, and I love green hearts. I absolutely love them.
