Use me. Cut me. How would you like me served
Bloody and raw or cooked to perfection
The leg, the heart, which section?
Throw me catch me or watch me as I fall
Hug me or beat me
It makes no difference at all
Tell me to Jump and I will ask how high
Tell me to cut and I will ask how deep
Tell me to hold my breath
'Hold for an hour nothing less'
Hold till your lungs are bruised and desperate
Take my heaven and drag me back
To this hell, this place
That you call home.
Drag me back to the darkness, choking ribbons lace the hangmans noose,
I give up, please cut me loose
Look into my eyes
A frail soul once lived behind those cold cloudy walls
A soul that once sobbed in corners
Made sure she wasn't heard
Always kept on smiling
Despite the cruel words
That suffocated her daily
Crawled in her dreams at night
The whispers that would break her
Made her stop the fight
Against a world that made her
give up and consider
Served her up and sold her off,
To Hell's highest bidder.
