Today is her birthday
Once upon a time
On a December morning
Was born this mother of mine.
She's something special
Anyone can tell
Fifty-three now
And she's aged quite well.
She's a middle aged woman
And barely begun to gray,
I hope that when I'm that old
I can say the same.
She's in wicked shape
For a girl 5 decades old,
Great legs, tiny waist,
Hips my dad likes to hold. ;)
I don't curse my looks,
Like mother like daughter;
I look way younger than my peers now,
But when we're fifty who'll be hotter? ;)
I'm told we look quite alike
Though I don't see it now,
But I believe I have her genes
And someday I'll understand how.
But enough of that, and to the point,
My mother gave me life,
She carried me into this world,
And she's a wonderful mother and wife.
She raised me well, she taught me much,
I'll always love her so,
Happy Birthday to my mommy
I love you, and I had to let you know. <3
