Lost In The Snow

Chapter 4 <~>

"Your gardens great," I whispered, trying not to break this amazing moment.
"Not really," he smiled, modestly.
"It it!" I persisted.
"No! It's tiny! Yours is fields and fields of open space and, well, nothingness! That means a tree to climb or a stream to paddle in!"
"It's full of animals though,"
"I'd give anything to have a horse, a dog- or even a chicken! The most I have ever had is a gold fish!"
"Sorry," I whispered.
"Don't be! Anyway, I love your dress! It's really pretty-" he chuckled. My dress was pretty; it was sky blue with a waist band made of 'mock pearls' and gold embroidered stars on the skirt.
"Like you," he continued. He held my hand and I held his. Now would be a good time to describe Leroy: he has brown shaggy hair, big green eyes and amazing teeth! He was the perfect big brother for Beth and she loved him! He was a smart, fashionable 14 year old, in most of my classes at school. We were about to kiss when:
"It was a perfect sunset and Sahara was gazing into Lewis' eyes. It was so romantic-" began Holly pouncing out from the bushes.
"How did you-" began Leroy pointing at the bush. Holly shook her head and continued to write. Holly was our farm 'assistant' as she called it. She had been since she was 8- and now she's 16! She loves animals and wants to be an author. Holly is coming to Austria with us because her mum died and her dad is away on a buisness trip at the same time. She hated the twins and had a huge dislike to my mother. She was nice- bit could get annoying.
"Holly! This is not the time! Leroy muttered.
"Yeah! Go play with Bethy!" I smiled pointing to the door.
"God lay off you guys! I'm nearly at the end of my novel. It's called Destiny's Way: By Holly Barker. Anyway, Beth! Beth!" She shouted running inside.
"Where were we?" Leroy asked, pulling me into a warm embrace.
"Here!" I whispered, kissing his lips.
