When Poppy Met Peter

Chapter 12 ~

6 YEARS LATER •

I was now officially 17! My birthday was last month and I got loads of cool stuff. Melina and Terry got me a... Car! It's a blue Lamborghini and was amazing. From Bethan a massive makeup set. Bethan is my new best friend. She has grey eyes and curly blonde hair. From Delilah loads of clothes. From Madeline a spa day with her and Bethan. And from my boyfriend a little trip to Hawaii with him! Oh by the way me and Peter are very serious now! I love him with all my heart! I have been 'upgraded' to a bigger room so that he could live with me. The trip for the spa is next month and Hawaii was in 2 days. We were going to visit a central part for 1 month because Peter is a photographer.
"Erm... Aunty Mel I need to talk to you," I began nervously.
"What deary?" she asked.
"I might move out," I whispered.
"Oh, we'll if that's what you want! Maddie has already left me!" she joked.
"Thanks for understanding mu- Melina," I replied running out to the beach. Sure enough lying on a towel was Peter. Evidently asleep. The beach we were on was usually empty but today it was silent! I crept up to him and, silently, sat on his stomach!
"Get off!" he laughed pulling me down next to him. I kissed him then pulled him into the water. We kissed again and then swam out. We floated on our backs and looked at the sky. It was beautiful. My faverouite song began to play on my phone. I instantly shot up forgetting how deep it was.
"Poppy!" shouted Peter grabbing me. I had gone under so he pulled me to shore. It waxy 9:00pm already! We had swam for 2 hours! We walked inside. The day after was pretty much the same: swimming and surfing and that kind of thing. Tomorrow I was booked to go to Hawaii! Woo hoo!
