Limbs fly forward in a steady beat,
Harmonious they pound their feet,
Rhythmic they rise and fall,
A velvet night their one true call,
Its cold it's dark I want to fall,
Hold up my hands and stand up tall,
This race is not a race to win,
A human race,
One endless spin,
I smile.
I cry,
I walk the dark,
My foot prints always leave a mark,
And when one day my light may fade,
The running race of mine is made,
The path is long and hard at times,
But when you cross the finish lines,
You can't regret the roads you've made,
For memory's they'll never fade,
Me and you,
And you and I,
Run the race an walk the sky,
Were in a race a unique kind,
Not another one you'll ever find,
So when your ever feeling blue,
The race I run. You run to.
