I awoke to the sunlight blinding me through the net curtain, I tried to roll over but I couldn't sleep, so I got up and went for a walk down the caravan. I heard the seagulls walking around on the caravan roof as I entered the kitchen. The sound was somewhat reassuring, as without it, there would be no sound or movement around me. I walked to the large window and prised it open, there was no wind, everywhere was still and silent. I looked out to the sea, and even that had an eerie stillness to it. I closed the window and decided to turn the television on for my own sanity. I flicked through the channels until I found the news, great to take my mind of today's strange events. I started to laugh at how foolish I had been when all of a sudden, the T.V went to a static black and white screen. I decided to go into my parents room just for reassurance someone else was alive but just as I touched the door handle, I heard a startled voice shout 'I'm just getting changed' it was a woman's voice, but it sounded too high pitched to be my mothers however I ignored it and sat down on the corner sofa. I turned the television off because I was sure I could make out voices between the static, 'don't trust anyone', 'help'. I decided it would be best to text someone, just to hear from another human. I text the first person on my contacts, Matt I just sent him a message saying 'hello, weird question, but have you noticed anything strange recently?' At this point, I didn't care I he thought I was crazy, I just wanted to hear from someone. Waiting for a reply was the longest 4 minutes of my life and the reply was somewhat more worrying than I had hoped. It simply said, 'not really, haven't heard from anyone except you haha' I had this crazy idea that me and Matt were the only two people alive in the world. My attention was diverted to my parents room, the door was being pushed from the inside. Without thinking, I ran and leant against the door, hoping I was strong enough to keep it closed. The pushing got more furious and a strange voice squeaked 'you wouldn't mind opening the door would you? I think it's stuck' the voice sent a chill down my spine. It wasn't my mothers, that's for sure. Just as I was about to ring '999' I thought to myself, I have no real evidence anything is after me, for all I know, my mother has a sore throat, the tv is broken and I'm hearing things. The sudden thought sends a red flush across my face. It has to be my mother I thought how else would someone be in the room? I was just about to fling the door open, when I froze to the spot. The side door on the caravan caught my eye. There were 5 hand prints formed perfectly onto the glass. Formed perfectly from a red liquid...
