Can You Hear Me? (part 3)

I ran home as quickly as I could. I didn't understand what was happening. Were those people real? I had no idea what they wanted me for. I knew I recognised them, I used to talk to them when I was a child, but nobody else could ever see them. All the other children thought I was insane, they thought I was talking to myself. I only started seeing them when my dad died. They gave me somebody to talk to and now that my mums vanished I've started seeing them again. It might just be me going insane, but they look so real. Like I can reach out my hand and actually feel them.

I got back to the house, everything was the way I left it. Apart from the door was open. I definitely closed it before I left, it was locked. It would be impossible for anybody to get it. The wind started to pick up again and I quickly ran inside. I could hear my name been whistled in the wind "Alisha, let us in". I couldn't see anybody. I glanced around to see that I was alone. The door quickly swung open and slammed again. The room started spinning. My body felt heavy and numb as I collapsed on the floor. My mind was filled with many memories. I jerked as I sat up, clutching onto my wrist. I looked around to see that everything was calm again. I went upstairs to find a note on my bed.

Trapped

I awoke with a start, page stuck to my face. Heavy eyes threatening to close the world from me, with an effort I stood; shovelling books into my arms half-heartedly.

The Window

Ever since we moved to this dreary house, I've noticed the large window, a bland one at that, situated on the back wall, and not a thing different to most windows, in their eyes.
