I don't NEED anything for Christmas, but I have been good;
Although I did pinch my sons chocolates one night, because I could.
But what I would like, apart from world peace and all that;
Is to be you, Father Christmas, all white of beard, jolly and fat.
I'd like to bring joy and excitement, to every boy, every girl;
Fly in your magic sleigh, in a whizz all round the world.
Id like to make all their, little dreams come true;
From the streets of Paris to Timbuktu.
Not one little child, I would actually miss;
And I would ask if I could even leave them a cuddle and a kiss.
I want to feel what you feel, when their faces light up;
At the sight of a broken carrot and milk drunk from a cup.
I want to fly through the air with Rudolph in the lead;
Sit by the fire with all the other letters that you read.
So Father Christmas, can I be you this year?
I promise I won't drink ALL the beer.
Love and Kisses
Eddie
