Oh I wish I could have a duvet day
And stay in bed all warm
Read my books and magazines
And sleep til I no longer yawn
But alas my boy needs to go to school
And my baby needs to play
Maybe come Saturday
I'll stay here and be brought tea all day
The rain is battering against my window
The wind is howling its own tune
My pillows and furry blankets
Keep me wrapped in a big cocoon
Oh how I wish I could stay here
Turn over and put out the light
But I suppose I'll have to get up
And just settle for a duvet night.
