HOUSEHOLD CHALLENGE

Thank you to @naaviie for picking me for the last challenge. Very unexpected.
But here goes, and I don't think it's been used before, the next word is:

WALLS

Apologies if you were expecting something spicy but I'd love lots of imaginative entries to read, so if you haven't had a go before give it a try. It doesn't have to be a poem but if it's a story please keep it short (max two pages).

As I've got relatives staying at the mo, the closing date will be 6pm on Thursday.
