She saw him every week at the local supermarket
Always on a Friday night
She thought he was ruggedly handsome
In fact a bit of alright
He always seemed to catch her eye
Near the ready made meals for one
He probably thinks how sad and lonely am I
She probably thinks my cooking is overdone
A polite smile here and an excuse me there
But never a word more
She thinks she rather likes this mysterious man
He thinks shes too good, he'll never score
So they continued their charade every Friday night
Her dreaming of romantic bliss
Wandering down the fruit and veg aisle
While he ticked off on his shopping list
Then one cold November shopping night
She sneezed not once, but twice
"Two for a kiss" he softly said
While hovering around the salt and the spice
He put his wire basket down
And held her face in his hands
He kissed her passionately on her peach lips
Forgetting about his shopping demands
Its been one year since their first kiss
Now they have had many more
In fact there's a ring on her finger
Their desire they could no longer ignore
Now they shop together for two
But there's another on its way
He wonders what would have happened
If she hadn't have sneezed that day.
