That something isn't quite right
The sensation someone, something is watching you
In the darkest depths of the night
You maybe walking home, or driving alone in your car
But you keep checking over your shoulder, thinking, how bizarre
Maybe it's a different sound, or perhaps a subtle light
Perhaps it's only your imagination, a trick of the night
Have you ever had that feeling
When you wake up cold as ice
When the room is a warm temperature
Perhaps with the spirits you dice
That familiar aroma of perfume or soap
Somewhere it shouldn't be
The smell of an old cigar
From someone you knew, but can't see
Think you've been here before
A feeling of de ja vu
Maybe you knew something was going to happen
To someone else or you
It doesn't have to be dark
Or be the middle of the night
Spirits can still come out to play
Even in broad daylight
So always look and listen
Don't be scared or sad
When a spirit tries to contact you
They're not always bad
