Life Right Now

I'm just sitting here
In the back of my dads truck
On top of a black toolbox
The toolbox is warm
I enjoy the warmth
Because the wind is chilling
My legs are cold in these shorts
My arms are warm in this sweatshirt
I hear the birds sing
Twee twue twee twue
Twee twee twee twee
She sits next to me
Music playing
I hear it
And pause
I listen
Rock music
So I just sit here
And let the wind blow gently
The sun behind the clouds
Making me more cold
An airplane up above
I want to fall asleep
I'm so tired
Hmmmm
We just sit here not knowing what to do
I blow a bubble of my mint gum
She doesn't notice and just plays another song
My stomach growls
Eeehhhcchh uuuurrrr
I'm hungry
I don't have much food to eat
Hmmmm
I know what to eat
Small orange squares with a hole in the middle
And salt crystals on top
Cheese flavored deliciousness
CHEEZ-ITS yum
But for now I'll just sit here with my feet on a milk crate
And think about life.
