Originality Breeds Contempt

I sit for hours thinking,
In an effort to find the words.
I scour my soul for experience
And bare it all for you.
I write what's in my heart
And I always bear the pain
And you reply with tired quotes,
Researched Wikipedia, again.
If you want to share your feelings
And you feel the need to vent,
Opuss is a godsend,
But if you're hell bent
On only sharing song lyrics,
Or a famous dead bloke's words,
You'll never get the chance
To hear your voice be heard.

Come on people. The odd quote is fine, sometimes it expresses just how we feel. But let's try to be original. Xx
