She fell asleep in the big leather chair in the conservatory, her head resting on her own shoulder and partially on the pillow behind her. Her legs are bent upwards with her feet resting on the other chairs armrest, one on top of the other. Her arms are crossed over her stomach and her hands are draped over the side of her hips almost as if she was trying to hide them in the process of falling asleep.
The evening light bouncing off her slightly tanned completion, the light shimmered as it moved with her breathing as the skin at the top of her chest which was visible, was rising and falling slowly with each deep inhale and exhale.
Meanwhile the boy who had come to see her was watching her from the conservatory door, she had carelessly left the front door unlocked so he entered the house, initially to discuss the reason why she had run off when they were together in the 6th form study area of the library at school. In all the time he had been friends with this girl he had never seen her run away from anything, much less him, but by the time he had made his way through the house to the conservatory and seen her sleeping on the chair it had all become clear. The reason why she was so red around her eyes this morning, the strange embarrassed moods he had been going in lately and the reason why she had been so careless in locking the doors. In that one moment it had all clicked together and his own realisation had awoken him.
How could have he had been so blind to the changes? He asked himself. How could he have ignored her like this?
He looked back at her still sleeping as the sun was slowly setting with its red glow becoming darker and darker.
He walked towards her conscious of the sound of his footsteps and trying not to wake her. He was so close now but it wasn't like before, it was more playful and it had changed, his heart was raising now.
He just stood there gazing at her so peacefully. She slowly opened her eyes trying to recognise what was in front of her, it dawned on her it was a person and as she looked up to see this persons face she sprung up in her seat realising it was him. Then she realised what a state she was in with cleavage exposed through her top and her hair messed up, she tried to hide all this whilst her face went bright red. It was all in vain, he had already seen it. He knelt down to her level beside the chair, reached out grabbing the back of her head with one hand and steadied himself on the armrest with the other. Suddenly he pulled her towards him and there lips met, she was shocked at first about his actions but slowly melted into the softness and warmth of his lips.
Her head was spinning as he broke the kiss, she then recognised that he had realised her feelings and began to let steams of tears fall down her cheeks and past a smile so pure it was as if it was one of a child.
