We all stared in unbelief.
"what are we meant to do now?" I cried. A bunch of nurses hustled in saying , "Quick quick, say goodbye. " hurrying us. Not one stopped to think, maybe all we want is to be left alone with her?
I gently kissed her forehead and walked out of the room first. Sam followed, Dad came out last. We forced ourselves to walk to the car. We drove home in silence, except for the occasional cries and sighs escaping our mouths. We eventually got to our house. When I walked into the house it felt different. Just like that, a house... Not a home.. Without mum... Mum... It was so weird and empty. I decided to go to bed.
