Forbidden Love ( Chapter 9)

I woke up the next morning and the sun was blaring through my curtains. I got up and trudged downstairs. I paused and saw a banner hanging up on the kitchen wall. It read, ' Sorry Holly - from Matt!'
I suddenly stood on a chair and ripped it down. I tore it in half. Then lay in a crumpled heap on the floor, crying. Someone ventured into the room and scooped me up and lay me on the bed. I looked up and there in front of me was Matt staring down at me forgivingly. I slapped him round the face. He rubbed the sore spot and suddenly said, " I didn't mean for it to happen."
" Why did you carry on though?" I asked while trembling.
" Maddie said if I didn't kiss her then she would really hurt you."
The something in my body made me feel sorry for him. I sat up and hugged him gently. Looks like everything was going to be ok...
