There is a girl I know,
Her name is Disability,
She travels on unseen wheels,
With her imagined friend Instability,
The demons in her head scream,
Miserably reminding her of everything,
She is not, and never will be.
She is blind, she is deaf, and often she is depression and lost in death,
She can see addiction in everything,
And she has alcohol and drug dependency.
She is looking through your eyes, sadly,
And with your lips, she whispers;
'Don't ignore me, don't pity',
'Reflected in your eyes, I can see me inside you so easily'
You might be aware of her, or you might look away dismissively,
All she needs is equality.
Her name is Disability.
