The little boy believed he was
An astronaut,
Built himself a little rocket ship,
And thought
He could get a little bit closer
To God

His good friend Billy said 'Don't
Do It'
His daddy, tired from work, said 'don't build
Rocket Ships
Build an education, head down, feet firmly on
The Ground'

The little boy cried. He didn't understand;
A man
Who believes he should never reach for
The Sky
Is a man not walking in a little
Boys life

I said, 'Jack, you build that ship tall'
I said;
'Make it strong, make it fast, and
You will
See this world full of
Light, Life

And ', I said, 'you will dream dreams unimaginable'. The
Little Boy
Looked at me, and grinned, mischievously, whispering;
'Alice, Alice
Come with me'. So I did. I helped Jack build that
Rocket ship

And we lived
We LIVED!
We lived the life fantastic.
