Two Halves Of A Hole

Hole.
Deep. Wide. Chasm of dark.
Half empty, half full
Of light, but enough
Room for two; me and you
Could squeeze down it,
Pull ourselves tightly squashed
Together, your arms locked
In mine, like two Octopus
Lost in the poetry of small
Space is not free
You have to earn space, indeed
You have to make it, by
Throwing out the old,
Squeezing in the new;
Take two halves, me and you
Live together, grow old
Inside this hole
Life spent pressed up with
Our lips kissing life
Is; bottomless, beautiful, infinite
Take a deep breath,
Make a jump,
Dive in,
Eat life
Hole.

I love this Jack. A beautiful excellent piece👏👏👏👏

I ❤ it too!

On a less serious note could someone explain to me what the plural of octopus is?? My whole life I've been taught octopi and now it's octopuses? 😕 ????

Lovely!

Love it
