The greatest love in the world,
Is that of a child's mother,
It's greater than a Fathers,
Far greater than a Lovers,
From conception till the day she dies,
All of the things that she will buy,
The selfless life long acts of love,
Like the olive branch carried by the dove,
Mum won't let harm befall you,
That's something that you always knew,
As sure as a cow does go Moo,
Mum will always be there its true,
She makes your bed,
She washes your clothes,
She even wiped your runny nose,
She picks you up,
Never puts you down,
She'll be sad if you wear a frown,
All Mothers are angels,
All Mothers are saints,
All Mothers immortalised
In portraits of paint,
So please ensure to bear one thing in mind,
When you next see your Mother,
So gentle and kind,
That without your Mum,
You just wouldn't be here,
There'd be no eyes or mouth,
Not to mention those ears,
So pull your Mum closer and give her a hug,
Tell her you've always felt nothing but love,
Make your Mum happy
And show her you care,
Turn up unexpectedly, compliment her hair,
Go for walks in the country,
Just two of you, a pair,
And just forgive her when she fusses,
Because one day...................
Shes not there.
